A little about me

認識我

Roger moved from Hong Kong to Los Angeles with his parents, Edmond and Grace, before he turned one. Five years later, he returned to Hong Kong with his baby brother, Luke. From a young age, Roger has always been the energetic, joyful, and endlessly talkative soul who naturally connects with people from all walks of life. He thrives on meaningful conversations and is constantly sparking adventurous ideas. Today, he channels this passion as a dedicated social worker, creatively using music, sports, and art-based interventions to help his clients discover their selfhood, find reconciliation, uncover deeper meaning, and unlock their fullest potential.

Roger隨父母在洛杉磯和香港兩地成長,從小就是個充滿活力、健談且善於連結他人。他熱愛深度對話和冒險,如今成為一位充滿創意的社工,透過音樂、運動和藝術幫助他人探索自我、尋找和解，並發揮最大的潛能。

“Every cloud has a silver lining.” Roger firmly believes there is always beauty and profound meaning to be found in life’s challenges and even in suffering — it all depends on how we perceive love: a deliberate decision of faith in the One who is Love Himself. Whether discussing upbringing, personal struggles, or the state of today’s world, this is a topic Roger never tires of exploring with others. Beyond his professional life, he is first and foremost a disciple of Jesus Christ, passionately spreading the message of love and grace wherever he goes.

Fun Facts About Me

趣事

I’m a passionate free-diver, scuba-diver, and open-water swimmer who can hold my breath underwater for five minutes and swim non-stop for a solid ninety minutes. Whether it’s a sparkling pool, a quiet pond, or the vast ocean, I feel completely at home the moment I dive in.

That said, it wasn’t always this effortless—I once had a pretty traumatic experience in an infant swimming class that left me terrified of water for years. Getting back into it was quite a journey, but now I’m basically a water creature who just happens to live on land.

我是自由、水肺潛水和公開水域游泳愛好者。雖然曾因童年創傷而怕水多年，但現在的我能水下閉氣五分鐘、持續游泳九十分鐘 —— 基本上是住在陸地的水生動物。

Venus in my eyes

我眼裡的她

Venus is the one who gently reminds me of my own worth when I forget it. She is the calm ground beneath my feet whenever anxiety tries to pull me under, the steady place I call home. 

Though we are so different in many ways, she seamlessly complements my weaknesses and gathers my scattered thoughts into clear, shining possibilities. In her, I see a living message from God—a beautiful reminder of our Creator’s love, His blessing, and the quiet, magnificent plan He has for us.

Venus 總在我忘記自身價值時，溫柔地將我喚醒。當焦慮來襲，她是我的穩妥，是我心之所歸的家。

雖然我們有著諸多不同，她卻完美地彌補我的缺失，將我紛亂的思緒梳理清晰。透過她，我看見了上帝的心意——造物主的愛、祂的恩典，以及祂為我們編織的生命藍圖。
